Nice cozy place to enjoy some good beer. The six beers they have on tap are nice, favorite is shape shifter. They have some card games to pass time and make for some good times. They also have two TVs. No kids allowed

Tried the sampler twice searching for something to stand out. Unfortunately none of the beers really did. Not bad for a young brewery. Unrelated to the beers themselves, there was no beer list available and no explanation of what you were drinking ( ingredients, hops or specs) other than what's on the sampler is what's on the tap handle. Finally, the girl at the taps took my Hydorflask growler to fill, carrying it by the cap swinging it to the tap and broke the cap retaining strap leaving the growler to fall to the floor denting the threaded neck. When confronted about it, she simply blew it off saying I carry mine like that. Here's your bill. Won't be back.

I just gave this place another shot after not being overly impressed in the past ... Beer was vastly improved. So is their logo. Ditching the Comic Sans font is a plus. The guy pouring the beer indicated that a few of the beers were new, and I felt they were far better than what I'd sampled in the past. The guy pouring the beer at the bar was very engaged with the product. This wasn't the case in the past. Much more positive experience. I'm pleased. I'll return!

Tricksters Brewing seems like a relatively new brewery in town. The logo for the brewery is clever as it has a winking fox implying some trickery. Clever and cute. I believe the head brewer here is from Southern Colorado and worked at Ska Brewing in Durango. Looking at the brewery's phone number contained a Colorado number and this peaked our interest and asked about it. When we entered we were warmly greeted which was pleasant. To drink I had their IPA. It had plenty of hoppiness to it but not exactly a beer I would call "dead on" for my palate. Overall the experience was good but I will continue my search for brews with unique flavors and ingredients.

Great place with delicious beers! I think this young brewery may have had some kinks To work out before, as I tried some beers from Trickster's at the 2013 GABF, and they were OK, but nothing really stood out. I found myself driving through Ceour D'Alene on a road trip last September, and decided to see how the beers were on site. The beers had massively improved. There were at least 4 or 5 beers on tap that I would definitely buy regularly if given the opportunity. Also, note the cool marble bar top. Not sure when I'll be back in Northern Idaho, but I sure look forward to it!

Awesome west coast style brewery. The Shape Shifter IPA is worth the trip to check these guys out. Great atmosphere, cool bartenders (usually the brewmaster haha) and AMAZING beers. I love Tricksters!

Great little place. Totally legit brewery. No food. But really good beer at good prices too. A little out of the way in an industrial area - but worth the effort to get there.

As the saying goes in the beer industry: you can never make every single person happy because everyone has a different pallet. For me, I really enjoy this place, the environment, the staff, and the beer--most importantly! I urge everyone who has looked up this brewery on Yelp to remind themselves that you may have a different experience than some other low reviewers! Give it a shot! I am sure MOST people will like this place and the craft beer they make.

I have been to 90% of the breweries in the northwest and of my top ten beers in the region, they have 3 of them. The XP is right near the top and all there beers are above average. Cheapest growler fills around and lots of specials events with discounts. Several bars and restaurants have them on tap. Small but very impressive tasting room!

Fantastic time! Good beer, great service, loved our experience. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town! Try their tasting flight for sure. Miles and Tony both provided amazing service and a lot of information.

A great place to stop in for a on-site micro brew. The beers are very good, Cougar Blonde Ale being my favorite. Check the local magazines for a $2 off coupon on thier taster flight which at the time of this review was six different brews. The only down side is this place is small. Very small. So seating is at a premium and may be an issue. Mark down Tricksters Brewing on your micro brewery to do list while in Coeur d' Alene.
